Hey peeps...
Back to my blog for now... =D Well, matriculation is finally over and things have finally settled down. Semester can start proper at last but with the time table given to me, well, lets just say I won't be able to cope at the beginning. But it'll take some use to.
Anyway, those of you who saw my recent Facebook post about coincidence, I think I seriously need to give a thought to my words or saying in the future... Guess who I met in the streets of the Geylang Serai. Just before I was started breaking fast, I ran into my sister-in-law's dad and her younger sister. Apparently, they too are buying take-aways to break fast at home. So we chatted for a while only to find out that my bro and sis-in-law are both working. It's a no wonder I cannot contact them all this while. Haha... =D
As usual, after breaking fast, we decided hang around the bazaar to survey the prices of my baju kurung as well as look for shawl to go with the suit. So while hanging around in that area, once again I bumped into my uncle and my aunties. How unlucky of me to keep bumping into my family members every now and then. Not that I hate them but bumping into them so often these days. I'm pretty sure there's a reason why... Or is it really pure coincidence?
Never mind about that... Anyway the night is getting late. Guess I'll stop her for now. Cheerios, peeps... =D

The 1st day....
Hi peeps.
Apparently, today is the 1st day of the Holy Month Of Ramadan which also means that the Muslim community has started the fasting season. Haha... I so cannot wait to break my fast later at around 7:20pm. Why on earth is the clock ticking so slowly??!! ARGH!!!
Never mind about that. =D So here's a little update about me... I've finally completed National Service in April with a slow and stealth note, exiting from the gates of the station. With the election on May 7, I was set busy with the campaigning and publicity duty for my MP. By the way, those of you who don't know where I reside, I'm currently in Potong Pasir. Oh well, here we go again; if you know what I mean. Haha...
So after 9 days of stressful and tiring campaign plus the horrific results that came out, I had to head back to NTUC Fairprice Xtra in Ang Mo Kio Hub to get myself a job. Back to the cashiering post that I once held in Dec 2008 before National Service Enlistment, I held onto that post for about 3 months already.
Now that college semester is starting, I guess I'll be lowering my commitment there and pay more attention to school then. Boy, I can tell you that matriculation killed me, big time! Hah! There's more coming up in the following weeks, plus with the fasting month, I really hope I can pull this through properly...
That's all for now peeps... I'll be posting soon after school tomorrow or maybe the day after if I'm really dead beat... Meanwhile, you take care and stay happy always...

The Beginning Of The New Year
Hello peeps,
A very Happy New Year to you all. I know it’s kind of late for me to wish you guys out there. Haha... So ushering the New Year with all of our resolutions, I suppose some of us are already starting on it while some of us are still working on where to begin with these resolutions. 2010 has passed by our shoulders with the wink of an eye. I still can remember vividly the first day I spent during 2010. I was in KL with my family taking a short trip there to spend some quality time with my sister-in-law who got married in Nov 2009.
The new year has been very wonderful and a enjoyable one with me and my friends, Sabri, Fazli, Atika & Rusyidia spending the night on eve of the new year, slacking overnight at Marina Bay Sands and Esplanade. The countdown to 2011 was fantastic with the usually brilliance of fireworks, the robust crowds of people around the area, the fabulous concerts and the night party dance. Check out some of the pictures that we took that night. (P.S. Many thanks to Sabri and Cammy for the wonderful camera and the photographs taken by them. And not forgetting Fazli for lending me his phone to film the whole 7mins plus fireworks scene at 12mn sharp on 01/01/11)

The infamous Oreo Cheesecake known to taste like poop...

Having a pissful dinner...

Marina Bay Sands from the bottom

The two good friends... =D

The night light below me...

Season's Greetings from Marina Bay Sands.

The mad crowd awaiting for the final moment to arrive.

And the final moment arrived; the fireworks during the New Year's Day

The happy group
Meanwhile, in office, the atmosphere is still the same except with a new staffs and the return of infamous colleague of mine whom we all know that it’s the one who has been giving tons and unnecessary problems in the office. Everyone was still in the holiday mood since December 2010 has been passing by so slowly so not many assignments were given and tasks that were handed out was also an easy one. The main buzz in the office was actually the Dinner & Dance that would be organised at Zouk Entertainment Club for the first time. How exciting is this?? I so love to have a D&D at a club... There were rumours that there will be a surprise performance by my officers which I think it’s a good thing that I got the early bird ticket at only $15.
Not long after a short week, the big day came. I had to take a whole day off because I have this problem with me. When it comes to events like this, I’m often spoiled for choice as to what to wear because I don’t want to be undress nor overdress. Eventually, after deciding for almost the whole morning, I decided to wear casual smart, with my t-shirt and my blazer. Actually, it looked good for a party dress. And you know what? I don’t even know how to get there in the first place. Hah! So I decided to meet my colleague who’s from a different department at Dhoby Ghaut. From there, we took a public transport to location and met up with my other colleagues and proceeded to register ourselves at the registration booth. The door gifts were rather interesting with a special lanyard for the party and a shaker that makes a ringing sound when you shake it. There was an even a pair of movie tickets costing $10 each... Hmmm, where do I begin?
The atmosphere in Zouk wasn’t really that loud when I first entered. Everything was being prepared. The sound system, the lightings, the dance floor and the props are being ushered in slowly. Even the drink bars are still preparing the cups and goblets. As the time goes by, more entered the club and at 6:30pm sharp, the DJ appeared and started off the party with one of my senior directors officiating the beginning of the event. And so the party starts... The food was so scrumptious that I ate 4 rounds of it. There was cheese hotdogs, fried rice and noodles, salmon steak, and loads of finger foods, just to name a few. Apart from the main course, there was a kebab station located at the centre bar, chocolate and tiramisu being served at the other end of the club. I really ate to my fullest and next come the drinks.
At first, I thought the soft drinks was able to make me enjoy the party but it seems not to be working for me so I decided to try some of my own mix version of vodka with the soft drinks. I can tell you the difference once the drinks managed to loosen my nerves and I partied like a madman... It was fun having to drink such party drinks once in a while. Anyway, it was free flow so will seem to be like a waste if I don’t drink to my heart’s content. After downing each cup, gradually I can feel the effect of the alcohol getting onto my nerves. So after I drank almost to 20 cups of drinks, I was so high. I wasn’t who I usually was back in office. You would have guess that I was doing all sorts of funny things. Another friend of mine was also as drunk as me and we had loads of fun together. We partied till like 1 o’clock in the morning and my best friend had to drag me out of the club eventually because I was too drunk to the extent of doing all sorts of indecent things.
The following day, surprisingly, I didn’t have any hangover compared to my other colleagues... Hah! That only means I’m able to take my alcohol very well. Unaware about the surroundings back in the party at Zouk, something terrible came by. One of my friends drowned at the nearby river during the party time. It seemed that he was too drunk and lost his footing and fell into the big drain located between Kim Seng Road and Zion Road. From there, he drowned despite the presence of many passer-by. Alright peeps, I guess I should end the entry now as time doesn’t permit me to continue any further. Good night and take care, people.
Always stay happy.
Cheers,
Faz =D

After The Week Ends…
Hello peeps,
This week has rather been a fast one. With my mum’s birthday that took place on 20th Nov on Saturday, it was a rather fast and simple celebration at Vivo City Burger King and a roundabout in Vivo City. Everything went smoothly in office and I must say, the atmosphere in the office has finally reached its limit. My supervisor has completed his assignment and will be going on a very long vacation. That only means that I’ve all the free time in the world to do anything in office, ain’t that great?
With the year end approaching, everything and everyone is on low profile, not making any big fuss or problems. With most of my colleagues leaving for holidays and vacations, I suppose being in office alone do have its perks. With all of my vacation leave and time-offs cleared, the office seemed to be welcoming of my presence there. I paid a visit to my alma mater last Friday and was rather surprised to see that most of my tutor who taught me over the course of my studies there has been transferred all over the colleges in Singapore. In addition to that, I just found out that my home tutor will attempt to overcome the Himalayas mountainous regions including Mount Everest herself.
With the week coming to an end, most of the things going on in my life has taken a deceleration and remaining stagnant for the rest of the month. Till then, take care peeps and stay happy always.
Cheers forever,
Faz =D

After The Weeks Ends...
Hey peeps,
I guess I've been busy with my life till I kinda forgot about this blog. So far, nothing special has happened for the previous weeks. I guess normalcy has set back into the office. Here's the good news: I don't think I told you guys about this. I got charged that time back in Sept for a folly act that I did during a moment of anger. So, when I tried to speak to the JDO, he told that the Board Of Inquiry had to close the case as he was also involved in the case as he signed the papers. Oh well, the fact that the charges are being dropped and the whole matter has been placed to an end really relieved me.
So, Deepavali has ended so has Hari Raya Haji which just ended like 2 days ago. Hmmm.. Not much happened during the period though. By the way, I took all of my vacation leave this week just to finish them away. Why? You may ask, as most of my colleagues will be gone during the month of December, so if I'm gone that time... Oh well, you all can guess what's going to happen in the office... =D
Anyway, I've been doing loads of night duty just to claim the Off days given for next Friday's outing with my NDPeeps 2010.. Kinda treating them to Singapore Flyer Outing. Since the Force is giving away free tickets, why not use the opportunity to enjoy while we can? I'm going to be freed of this liability of mine in 5 months' time... But I'm sure there will be times that I will miss NS especially those days back in the training school at Civil Defence Academy, Jalan Bahar.
Today's my mum 56th birthday and so plans we made of going to eat at Swensens and watch Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows with her and my bro. (P.S. It's the 2nd time I'm watching) But then, there'll be changes. She wanted to eat at some cheap Banquet place for its Fish & Chips. Oh well, it's her birthday...
Alright peeps, guess this is all I have for now. Till then, you take care and I post more as time goes by. Cheers... =D

After The Week Ends...
Hello peeps,
To start off, first and foremost, the festive season of Syawal has been long over. Surprised to say, I don’t really enjoy much of this year’s festive season, given the fact that it is a repeated event for almost 20 years of my life. Now that it’s over, another chapter of my life sets in. With the end of the year approaching, Deepavali and Hari Raya Aidil’adha coming up, my guess is that people are going to get busy with these festivities at hand. Practically, this week has rather been a boring one with the usually meeting routine and tasks given by my superiors. I guess time has stopped for now and there may be a reason behind it. These days, I’ve been loosing much steam due to unknown reasons. I guess nothing much has happen for me to post so till then take care people and stay happy always no matter what happens.

After The Whole Ordeal....
Hey peeps,
I must admit that these few months have been rather a very busy period for me at least if not, my family's buzzing over lots of activities... It all begins in April with the NDP 2010 Marching Contingent rehearsals kicking in at Nee Soon Camp practically every Sat from 0830hrs till 1830hrs every time. But though I spent almost the whole day there, I really enjoy myself there... Apart from the food that was provided by both Sodexo (FYI: They serve with better standard compared to when during my BRT days in BRTC) and the NDP EXCO, marching with my other mates from other divisions was damn fun. Seeing the common mistakes done in footdrill, and the funny RSMs with their jokes and stuffs, no wonder I really miss being in NDP 2010... Just hope to join in NDP 2011 next year. Hahaz...
The contingent, making the right turn after saluting to President
Preparing for NE Show 2

Me and the Driving Files plus my Contingent Commander, CPT Bryan Ng and CPT Matthew Tay
From there, right after NDP 2010, the holy month of Ramadan sets in and there begins the boring but yet fulfilling times of Pre-dawn meals and having If'tar together with my family and friends. This period, I would say is the most hectic of all as 3 main events clashed in this period. Firstly, fasting month sets in, secondly, the inaugural Youth Olympic Games and thirdly, the Civil Defence Day Parade training; all 3 being squeezed into 2 months... I can practically die out of exhaustion if not because of my discipline and endurance to take in all these stuffs in a row...
The happiness(or maybe the craziness)of Raya-ing around... =D

Me and SGT Azlan keeping as memories... Awwww...

All ready and prepared for the final showdown
Right after the fiasco, the horizon darkens for me with the F1 comin in. Plans, maps, Ops Order all starts to haunt me back like what happened back in 2009 when the F1 race took place the 2nd time. But through all the hard work, I had fun doing all of it because it's all a breeze now since all I did was to take the last template and paste it over the new one. Hahaz. Guess working smart has its perks. Then come the actual standby 26th Sept and the usual thing happens. BOREDOM KILLED ME!!! And the Stand Down resurrected me back from the dead. It all ended at 2330hrs...
The long morning has come to an end. At last, now I suppose it's time to call it a day for most of us and with these major events now over, I hope there won't be anymore major plans or events till the next time I come across; hopefully when I've ORDed from NS and peace sets in me again. Till then, enjoy yourself peeps and take care...
