Hey, viewers.
CD Day Parade trainings has begun and things are getting are started. First and foremost, I've been selected as the Guard-Of-Honour in this parade. I can't tell you how proud I was when I heard that not because I'm in the parade but because I get to don the No. 1 uniform. The No. 1 uniform is the ceremonial dress that uniform personnels wear during special parades or commemoration.
Guess it's a once in a lifetime kind of thing for me. The first training that took place 2 weeks ago really opened my eyes to the challenges that I have to face in this upcoming parade. Not only do we have to hail a lance, which is a wooden stick with a metallic top, but march with it as well. So far, everything went smoothly for the contingent. Well, training continues tomorrow and see how it goes. Till then, cheerios people...
