Today's training was a good one. Finally, a mock rehearsal took place today and I really enjoyed it. Being in the Guard-Of-Honour has its pros and cons. Nonetheless, everything has its ups and downs. The contingent got reprimanded by our RSM. Cheekiness doesn't pay to be part of the contingent.
I have to say the Ensign & Escort rather did amazed me with their footdrill skills. Though they were slow at first (due to lack of training), they sure are fast learners and quick witted people. How I respect those people; carrying their flags and representing their unit... Must be a great honour for them to have to be appointed as Colours Party...
I, on the other hand, am waiting for the contingent to be fully represented. All but BRTC hasn't respond to the GOH call yet. Man, how irritating can this be... MOFOs that I think can't be GOH managed to be in but those who has the calibre are trying to avoid it or somewhat or rather not able to enter...
Guess I'll just have to wait & see on 4th Aug when the 1st Combined Rehearsal occurs. Till then, I'll keep you all posted on the latest developments on Civil Defence Day Parade 2010.
