SCDF Marching Contingent with POCs, LTC Lek Seng Khoon(NDP 2010 PC) & MWO Albert Chen Yuen Chong(NDP 2010 PRSM)
Hi peeps. Good day to you all. Apparently, I just opened this blog recently in conjunction with the beginning of the NDP Saga so that we can share the happy moments together during this journey and on other milestones in life. To begin, I must say that NE Shows are getting more and more exciting as the weeks go by. Not only the parade segment but as well as the performances as well. I did make some glitches during the parade but the funniest that ever happened was when the Colours Party had to lower their flag when the command "Rusuk Senjata" was given.
NE Show 3 was rather boring cuz the Guest-of-Honour was just a nobody so the Colours Party had to carry a dummy flag which I felt was really demoralising. Come on, it's the 3rd NE Show and still using dummy flags? Never mind about that one. I must say the crowd in this NE Show was the most ethusiastic amongst the other crowds in the previous NE Show. Some were even parroting the PSM and PC's command. Oh well, guess the NDP spirit is running high in everyone these days.
Moreover, NDP Preview is just round the corner with the inaugural Youth Olympic Games coming up and setting this small little red dot buzzing with lots and lots of activities and rehearsals. What a big clash. YOG & NDP together in the same month... Guess I'll be busy these few days till end of Aug. Well, till next time, take care and enjoy...
